About the Owner
Zach Fox, president of Fox Firearms Co. LLC, has over 10 years of professional firearms experience including NRA instruction, gunsmithing, and NFA paperwork.
Zach began working in a machine shop in 2010 and studied Tool and Die at NIACC in 2011. In 2012 he moved to South Carolina and began working at a gun range as an NRA Pistol Instructor and Range Safety Officer.
Soon after Zach began utilizing his machining experience to assist in gunsmithing. Working on firearms varying from "Grandpa's" .22 rifle to M4s for SWAT teams. In 2019 Zach moved back to Iowa and founded Fox Firearms Co.

FFL Transfers
Before I started Fox Firearms Co. I remember shopping around at different FFL’s regarding transfer fees. I couldn’t understand the disparity I saw in prices from place to place, or how expensive it could be for just transferring a firearm! I mean, that was something I legally had to do for any firearm I needed shipped to or from me. At times, I was almost spending as much to transfer as I spent on the firearm itself because I had no other choice! I remember feeling taken advantage of and frustrated. At Fox Firearms Co., I value your business and try my best to never make my clients feel that frustration or that they are being taken advantage of. I began this business because I have a passion for firearms and, of course, I always encourage my clients to give me the opportunity to provide quotes for their business. I pride myself on being as fair as possible in those quotes, but I understand that, realistically, I cannot always compete with the deals presented by bigger companies and the internet. Because of this, all non-NFA transfers are a flat fee of $20.00, regardless of where you purchased the firearm. NFA transfers are also offered for $75. Wherever you decide to purchase your firearm/NFA item from, or if you are selling and sending a firearm elsewhere, I will always take care of your transfers and treat you with the respect and appreciation you deserve for choosing Fox Firearms Co. to do business with.

Absolutely! No need to let Fox Firearms Co. know unless the sending FFL needs an updated FFL for shipping.
There is no transfer fee for silencers purchased through Silencer Shop. Fox Firearms Co. is a "powered by dealer". Buying from Silencer Shop is the same as buying from Fox Firearms Co.
ATF Form 1 is an application to make and register a firearm. It is used whenever a person without a Federal Firearms License (FFL) wants to make an “NFA Firearm” such as a silencer (suppressor), short barreled rifle (SBR), short barreled shotgun (SBS), or an Any Other Weapon (AOW).
EFT stands for Electronic Fingerprint Transmission file. EFT is the digital file that contains your fingerprint information securely and is a standard used by the FBI for digital fingerprints.
